BIENEVENIDOS – WELCOME BACK 2021

WELCOME BOYS, GIRLS, MOTHERS, FATHERS, PARENTS AND EVERYONE TO THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022.

I HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT SUMMER AND HAVE RECHARGED YOUR BATTERIES FOR A SUPER LEARNING ADVENTURE. I AM EXCITED TO START THIS NEW  SCHOOL YEAR.

THIS YEAR, I WANT TO FOCUS ON INCREASING THE CHILDREN’S SPANISH VOCABULARY. THE CHILDREN WILL LEARN  NEW LETTERS  AND WORDS THAT BEGIN WITH THAT LETTER SOUND. WE WILL SING SONGS, READ SMALL PASSAGES AND PRACTICE WRITING AND CORRECTLY PRONOUNCING OUR  NEW WORDS. STUDENTS COULD EVEN BRING SOMETHING FROM HOME THAT STARTS  WITH THE LETTER SOUND WE ARE LEARNING ABOUT AND SHARE IT WITH THE CLASS.

Bienvenidos/Welcome

HOLA Ninos y Ninas, I hope you are well and happy to be back at school.   I am very happy and excited about this school year and all the new learning involved. I will try to keep Spanish as a fun as I can.

Just to clarify things: Spanish classes will not hold Zoom meetings this quarter. This is new to all of us.

So, for Virtual/At Home Learners, I will be posting worksheets, videos and assignments every other week on my Google Classroom site. The students can print the worksheet/assignment or take a picture of it, attach it  and send it back to me when completed. If there is not a written assignment, you may simply notify me that you did the activity. Let’s keep things as simple as possible!
